It Is Bags of Rubber Crumb, the black rubber actually being cut up old tires that is then EPDM treated. So when you use black you are saving the landfills from being filled with tires!!!!
When you go with the colored crumb, well it's actually synthetic EPDM created rubber with the color manufactured in to it. It's not a sprayed black rubber like mulch. It's made to last forever and hold its color.
Then this crumb rubber is thrown into a mixer, like a big dough mixer and mixed with a heavy epoxy binder.
This Rubberstone is amazing!!!
It will cover and float up to an inch as your subsurface flexes. Concrete is made to crack. It can't hold its own weight. Rubberstone flexes as the subsurface moves
