Back on Signal Mountain today! 💪🇺🇸

We’re putting the finishing touches on this property just in time for the Fourth of July. We previously installed the landscape lighting, and today we’re laying fresh sod, installing a flagstone walkway, repairing the irrigation system, and bringing everything together.

Progress update! 🌱💪

The prep work is coming together exactly the way it should. The crew has the premium topsoil spread, and we’re hand-raking the entire yard to create a smooth, level surface before laying the Zoysia sod. This is one of the most important steps in the process—taking the extra time now ensures a cleaner installation and gives the new lawn the best chance to establish and thrive.

Next up: fertilizer, lime, rolling the sod, and installing the temporary irrigation system in the backyard to keep everything properly watered during establishment.

Another beautiful lawn transformation underway! 🌱

Today we’re installing 13 pallets of Zoysia sod, along with a complete site prep to give this lawn the best possible start.

✅ Harley raking and final grading
✅ Lime application
✅ Starter fertilizer
✅ Professional sod installation
✅ Rolling the sod for proper root-to-soil contact
✅ Building a temporary irrigation system in the backyard

The homeowner already has irrigation in the front and side yards, but wanted to make sure the new sod in the backyard receives the water it needs to establish properly. We’ll have Colin getting some videos of the temporary irrigation setup later today!

Back on Signal Mountain making great progress! The concrete and masonry crews have us ready to start installing our landscape lighting and mounting our boxes. Once everything is finished, the stone will be installed around the fixtures for a clean, professional look.

We’re pushing to have this project completed before the Fourth of July and can’t wait to show the finished results. Grateful for the opportunity to work alongside some amazing contractors and clients.

Installing landscape lighting on this retaining wall project up on Signal Mountain. These lights will be fully controlled from the client’s phone for easy adjustments and scheduling. We’re also running conduit throughout the install so if repairs are ever needed in the future, we can service the system without busting up concrete. Doing it right the first time. Little job the crew knocked out today. We extended the irrigation around a couple new plants the client had installed a few years ago because the irrigation lines did not reach that area. We installed a drip system, repaired a few missing emitters, broke out the old mulch, installed fresh mulch, trimmed up the bushes, sprayed herbicide, redefined the bed edges, and spruced up the shrubs.

Knocked out another one ✅

We laid 30 rolls of pine straw, installed 15 new plants including Blue Star Junipers, Obsession Nandinas, and Encore Azaleas 🌿

The hillside was too steep for the client to maintain, so we removed the sod and turned it into a low-maintenance flower bed that looks great and is easy to manage.
