MIRIT Construction is looking for an experience Industrial/Residential Sales Representative for its Louisiana Region.

MIRIT's services include new construction, remodeling and repair, roofing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, inspection, and property management.

Responsibilities:
Manage sales territory covering Louisiana.
Focus on improving and developing sales revenue and margin with existing and new customers.
Build market recognition and customer base within territory.
Provide feedback to the region on the market situation and work with other sales/regional managers to develop national accounts.
Offer, follow up, negotiate and close business within the assigned territory
Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer staff.
Responsible for the timely preparation of quotations and proposals.
Provide weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.

Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to deal with individuals at all levels in an organization.
Correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with customers.
Must be able to travel extensively
Reside near a major city within the territory preferred.

Infrared Thermography Overview

Thermal imaging cameras work by detecting heat signatures and displaying them as a gradient scale, with lighter colors signifying areas that are more hot and darker colors signifying cooler areas. Unlike visible light, which is the reflection of wavelengths of light off an object, infrared comes directly from the image source. This allows IR cameras to function in ways that traditional visible light cameras cannot.

Here is a list of some applications for IRT:

· Determine if insulation if lacking or deficient.
· Determine if there are any air-leaks or abnormalities in heat
flowing out of a building.
· Determine if there is any moisture intrusion with insulation or
other systems (when used with a moisture meter).
· Determine if electrical systems are overloaded or overheating.
· Determine if there are leaks or defects with the roof.
· Determine defects with the HVAC system.

For MIRIT Inspectors, knowledge of training of IRT help to diagnose defects that may not have been apparent in a routine inspection, reveal further defects and underlying causes, and can make the job safer.
