Another day of temperatures topping out in the 94-to-101-degree range today. Heat Indices topping out in the 108-to-112-degree range are expected, with a few localities seeing even high readings.

Pardon Our Progress: The Edward H. Carroll Sr. Kids Park playground is scheduled to be closed from Tuesday, August 11th through Friday, August 14th for the installation of shade sails. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The community has been asking for more shade at the popular playground and the city is excited to be moving forward with this project.
