When Teresa joined Legacy in 2019, the company was growing, and the financial department needed someone who could step in with experience, excellence, and heart.
From the beginning, Teresa was honest about her battle with breast cancer, and her faith in God was clear. Legacy was looking for someone who not only understood the construction and financial world, but also shared a love for God, people, and community. Teresa embodied all of that.
Even with all her experience, Teresa came in with humility. She asked questions, learned the Legacy way, and faithfully followed the processes in place while also bringing valuable insight. Before long, she became family.
Through every high, challenge, and season of change, Teresa stayed committed to fighting for the best of Legacy. She lived out the truth that this is God’s company and worked as if serving the Lord, not man.
As Teresa prepares for retirement, Legacy will feel the size of the hole she leaves behind. From birthday desserts, soups, rice, dumplings, and prayers, to her steady leadership and faithful service, she will be deeply missed.
Our prayer is that the Lord continues to bless Teresa, her marriage, her health, and every step of this next season of her life.
