The Clay County Sheriff's Office needs the community's help. Be on the lookout for a 2001 Stingray sport boat with a green strip down the side and a green button boat cover. It was on a 1987 galvanized steel quick model trailer. The boat trailer has a storage box attached to the nose of the trailer and has a green decal strip on the base of the trailer. The boat and trailer were last seen on March 15th at 5:00pm. The incident occurred at 3138 County Road 220 (Marathon gas station property).

Please refer to this case number (2024-006151) with any tips provided.

- Flee/Elude Police: Aggravated Fleeing W/ Injury or Damage
- Aggravated Assault: Aggravated Assault on Specified Personnel
- Burglary: Burglary Occupied Conveyance Unarmed
- Vehicle Theft: Grand Theft of Motor Vehicle Attempted

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for a suspect involved in a carjacking. Tony Smith Jr., 5’9”, thin build, wearing a dark long-sleeve shirt and gray sweat pants, was last seen in the area of Blanding Blvd and Kettering Way. Lakeside Junior High School, Lakeside Elementary School, Orange Park High School, and St. Johns County Day School are all on lockdown. Anyone with information regarding the suspect's whereabouts is asked to call 911.Update

Scott in Orange Park cut down a dying tree in front of his rental property. Unfortunately the stump left an eye sore right in the front yard. Stump Daddy LLC made short work of it and brought his yard back to a level surface. We got it out so quickly we forgot to take a “before” picture lol. In a few weeks, you will have never known there was ever a tree there at all.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office received numerous 9-1-1 calls in reference to multiple gunshots in the vicinity of Turkey Point Drive and Briar Lane. In response to this incident, the Sheriff’s Office is requesting residents residing in the area to review their video surveillance footage captured between 11:00 p.m. and midnight on June 1. Any relevant activity observed during this time frame would help us in our ongoing investigation.
