🎉BIG NEWS for Florida’s Pool Industry!

The Florida Building Commission voted unanimously to keep single wire bonding in the 2026 Florida Building Code, a major win for Floridians and the swimming pool & spa industry.

Thank you to the Pool Industry Council, PHTA, the FSPA Board and all members who traveled, testified, donated or shared expertise to make this possible.

Congratulations to Dallas Thiesen, FSPA Chief Government Relations Officer, for leading the advocacy on this win!

If your pool has automation it should turn your pump on automatically to avoid freeze damage. Make sure it’s working. If you don’t, run your pump constantly during freezing temperatures.

Just another Florida freeze. No sweat! (Pun intended) Make sure your pool is circulating all night Saturday night. If you have automation it SHOULD do this automatically.

Hey all. Yep. We’re still here. And we’ll be making an appearance at this event Friday night. We’ll be playing a few songs as DownPine but also playing with several other great musicians the whole night. There’s also a co****le tourney! And who doesn’t love eating out of a truck?
