I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, when you’re breakers are tripping, it’s their way of communicating to you that there is a problem, don’t just continue to reset them, especially if they are for a specific item such as an EV charging station or AC unit. Please listen to your electrical system when it tries to communicate with you, it may just save your life!

Eco-Tech Electrical Services Safety Tip: Please listen to your electrical system!

I wanted to share these photos of a recent repair that we made at a client’s home. The client said that she would have to reset this particular breaker every so often because once in a while it would trip, the problem with this way of thinking is that your electrical system is designed not to trip, and if it becomes a regular thing, there is definitely a problem. Yes, we all have experienced that once every couple year overload that happens when you have too many appliances plugged in at the same time, but this is the way your electrical system works to keep the wiring from heating up and eventually causing bigger problems, even fires! 🔥 If your breaker trips more than once, there is likely a bigger problem, and you need to call out a qualified electrical contractor to check things out!
