Just a reminder that next Tuesday June the 9th we will be packing dog and cat food that will be delivered to the Meals on Wheels clients!!
We will have a short meeting with the director from Meals on Wheels during lunch, and then we will head to the gym to package food.

Please remember to wear your rotary shirt!

Boys & Girls Clubs of America presented this week at Rotary. Their team is currently working with community leaders in the region to explore the launch of a new Boys & Girls Club to serve young people and families in the Golden Triangle area. As you may know, Boys & Girls Clubs provide safe, supportive, and high-quality youth development programs that strengthen academic success, build character and leadership, and support the overall wellbeing of children and teens. As they begin engaging local stakeholders, they would be grateful for the opportunity to introduce this vision to your organization. They welcome the chance to share how a Club can benefit the community, outline early planning efforts, and discuss ways local partners can be involved in shaping and supporting this important initiative.

We are so incredibly honored to have hosted the Rotary Club of Orange today for a very special ribbon-cutting and Peace Pole dedication at Sunset Park!

Located right on 16th Street, this beautiful new monument is part of the Rotary's inspiring Peace Pole Project. It stands as a silent, powerful reminder of our shared hope for peace on Earth and unity within our own community.

A massive thank you to the Rotary Club of Orange for your continued dedication to our city and for choosing Sunset Park as the home for such a meaningful installation.

If you are in the neighborhood or taking a stroll down 16th Street this week, please stop by the park to see it for yourself and enjoy a quiet moment of reflection!

She shared her wealth of knowledge about speech and occupational therapies and the impact it has on children in our community.
