Interesting build I just finished up. This is called an Afghan Camera, or a box camera. Also known as a Camera Obscura, except instead of just projecting an image on a wall or onto a wet plate for developing. A digital camera is mounted in the back and that is used to capture the image projected.

This is a projection style of camera, my next build will be a larger reflection style camera obscura with a 300mm lens.

Had four extra batteries from my workshop upgrade. Figured a good use would be building a 12v portable power box. Have a cigarette plug, usb plugs, post connections and six leds for lighting.

All stuffed into an ammo can.

I am putting together a children’s woodworking class that will be held at The Outpost on market street.

The date is scheduled for May 22 and it is at 1 to 3pm

In this class children will be making bird feeders with a parent.
All supplies will be covered. I have not yet worked out the fee, but will have that later this week.

Starting with a small class, so i only have five open spots. And at least 5 years old. Full details later this week.

Been a productive day in kat-topia interior building. Both primary shelves are weather sealed. Astro turf is put in, and now I have the steps built and sealed for access to the upper platform.

Now just pondering either wrapping in jute cord or using left over turf.
