How to make HOMEMADE ICED TEA with your friends at Sanlino Landscape Powered by Growco:

Ingredients:
1) 8 cups of water
2) 7 bags of black tea
3) 4 peaches
4) 2-3 lemons
5) 1 cup of sugar
6) Mint

Directions:

PART 1
1) Boil 8 cups of purified water (ensures great taste);
2) Steep 7 bags of any brand of black tea in the hot water for 2-3 minutes (don't forget to stir) (Remove tea bags to avoid getting that bitter taste);

PART 2
3) Slice 4 peaches into wedges;
4) Throw peach wedges into skillet, add 1 cup of water, add 1 cup of sugar, and simmer for 4-5 minutes. (you don't want your peaches to get mushy);
5) Cut lemon in half and squeeze into skillet as its simmering;

PART 3
6) Strain peach mixture into large pitcher, excluding the peaches;
7) Mix black tea with peach mixture and chill pitcher for at least 2 hours:
8) Serve over ice, add lemon and peach wedges, then garnish with mint.

Quick hints:
1) Mix in other fruits for a more robust tea drinking experience;
2) Pour into mason jars to give that iconic Portland look;
3) Add a shot or two of whisky to spice up the drink and beat the summer heat.

Recipe can be adjusted to fit any taste!!

SUMMER TIPS FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT SANLINO LANDSCAPE POWERED BY GROWCO.

1) Know the right height
When mowing in the summer, make sure to adjust your blades to leave grass taller. Gradually lower the blades throughout the summer. This will allow roots to grow deeper and keep water from evaporating.

2) Water properly.
For the healthiest grass, water your lawn deeply and infrequently.

3) Clean up after the family pet
The family dog can cause dead spots on a lawn. If you see dying grass due to your dog’s urination, flush the area with water to dilute the urine in soil.

4) Leave Clippings
If you're mowing at the right height, you can let the clippings lie on the lawn because they act as a natural fertilizer.

5) Avoid parking on the grass

6) Sharpen your mower blade
