⚡️ Another Saturday, another project completed by DMR Electric!

Our client had a fast-approaching deadline and needed their electrical work completed to obtain their occupancy permit. During the inspection, the local AHJ determined that the kitchen equipment did not have the proper protection required for safe operation.

DMR Electric stepped in and got to work. We rewired the kitchen equipment and designed and installed a custom shunt-trip system integrated with the existing Ansul fire-suppression system.

The result? A properly protected kitchen system designed to safely disconnect the equipment in the event of a fire — helping bring the installation up to code and keeping our client on track with their occupancy deadline.

When an emergency call comes in, our team responds as quickly as possible. In this case, a customer’s newer home experienced a failure with its underground electrical service. We suspected the damage was caused by a rock rubbing against the URD cable over time. To help prevent the issue from happening again, we installed new 3-inch conduit and service conductors.

Through fast planning and close coordination with the local utility company, we completed the necessary inspections and safely restored the customer’s power—all within one day of the outage.

Homeowner called us out to this project after the local AHJ deemed the existing pool equipment installation extremely unsafe, with enough code violations to fill a book.

Needless to say, after a few days of hard work, our team was able to get everything properly corrected and the system back up and running safely. Most importantly, our client can now enjoy their pool with peace of mind, knowing it is safe for their family. ⚡️🏊‍♂️

What an incredible day for the DMR Electric team.

Our crew began a planned facility power outage at 4:00 AM to complete a full service relocation, including the installation and cutover of a new 2,000-amp, 120/208V three-phase electrical service, a new 750 kVA pad-mounted transformer, secondary cabinet, and six 400-foot pulls of quad 750 MCM conductors.

This project came with critical conditions and a strict 12-hour deadline—no exceptions. Every phase of the work had to be carefully coordinated, including same-day inspections, to ensure power could be safely restored to the facility on schedule.

After countless days of planning, scheduling, and staging, our crew executed the shutdown flawlessly. Thanks to the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism of everyone involved, we completed the project safely, passed inspection, restored power, and still finished with time to spare.

A special thank you to Ralph and the team at Rocket Electric for lending a hand today. We truly appreciate the support and teamwork.
