Twenty-one solar panels had to come off this Orem roof before we could replace it after wind damage. A solar crew detached the array, we tore the old roof down to the deck, and the panels were reset on the new roof once the shingles were finished. The old swamp cooler was removed from the roof as well. Wind damage sent this Pleasant Grove home in for a full tear-off, and it came back with 88 feet of new GAF Cobra ridge vent along the main ridge and over the garage. GAF Timberline HDZ in Weathered Wood went down over new synthetic underlayment, with ice & water at the eaves and valleys, starter around the whole perimeter, and white drip edge on the eaves and rakes. The old satellite dish was removed and not put back. It's covered by the GAF System Plus Limited Warranty, and we installed it as a GAF Master Elite® contractor. We tore the old shingles and underlayment off this steep Provo roof, about 31 squares, after wind and hail damage. Ice & water went in at the eaves and valleys, and white drip edge now runs along both the eaves and the rakes, which is what code calls for. GAF Pro-Start starter went around the whole perimeter before the GAF Timberline Natural Shadow shingles in Pewter Gray. The chimney's counter-flashing had to go on the outside of the stucco, and the homeowner picked black for it. We pulled the Provo re-roof permit, and the roof passed its final inspection. We closed off the old gable vents with new OSB and patched over the spot where a swamp cooler used to sit on this Provo home, part of a full tear-off after wind and hail damage. It's a steep 9/12 two-story roof, so the crew set up ropes and harnesses before anyone went to work. Lehi's August 13, 2024 wind and hail storm left this roof due for replacement. As a GAF Master Elite Presidential Club roofer, we tore it off and installed GAF Timberline HDZ Charcoal. The satellite dish and old mount were removed, and two new sheets of OSB went in. New counter-flashing now wraps the whole chimney.

We removed the swamp cooler on this Tooele wind home, then tore the roof off to the deck. It's now GAF Timberline Natural Shadow Weathered Wood with white drip across 19 squares, ice & water at the eaves and valleys, starter at the perimeter, and three brown wind turbines where the old gable vents were closed. The gutters were detached and reset, and three OSB sheets covered the swamp cooler patch and gable plugs. We pulled the Tooele re-roof permit. Misty B.: "I highly recommend them. Full tear-off to the deck, GAF Timberline Natural Shadow Charcoal with white drip across 20 squares, ice & water and Pro-Start starter, eight Lomanco turtle vents, and two OSB sheets to plug the gables.
