Not every family wants four basement bedrooms. 🏠

This family wanted one big open space to play, hang out and have fun together, so we made it happen. 🙌🏼

We replaced the existing support beam with engineered wood beams and new footings to create an open layout, all without using steel.

Exterior details you’ll never see once it’s finished 👀

🏗️ Precast concrete slabs: a 30’ x 60’ patio that’s all open underneath. They’re hollow inside but engineered to hold the load.

🔩 Grout filler: keeps the joints between slabs locked together.

🧱 Foundation walls: the slabs sit right on top, then the slab caps over the ends so the elevation matches the house and the finish looks seamless.

☔️ Temporary plastic: keeps the seams dry from Utah weather until waterproofing goes down next week.

And the space underneath? A gym. 💪🏼
