👉 In addition to the pruning, planting, and removal of trees, we also take CARE of trees.

🪳 For example, the tree pictured here has oyster-shell scale. These are actually tiny insects that often infect shade, ornamental, and orchard trees. They feed on tree sap and can cause branch dieback and yellowing foliage. The good news is that these pests can be controlled!

🌳 We would always rather try to preserve a tree than remove it, so if you have a tree that you are concerned about, give us a call!

There are many good reasons to have ISA Certified Arborists on your property, and here is one of them! Having a love for all things tree, we happened to be admiring this mature Honey Locust after finishing a dead Maple removal for this Beloit client. That admiration lead to one of us noticing an inclusion that had turned into a small crack in the main union of the tree.

After notifying our clients, they were concerned that we would need to remove the entire tree as failure would result in damage to their home and garage. We inspected the crack closer and determined that a cabling system along with end weight reduction pruning would be enough to allow the tree to stick around safely.

This crack was not new. It was newly noticed. This tree had been living with this inclusion for a long time and the inclusion at some point in time turned into a small crack (see photos). This was not an actively failing tree. This was a tree that needed some support. And are happy to be able to provide it!
