General Manager Vasily Shadrin shared insights on storm preparedness from an active construction perspective, including strategies for securing jobsites, protecting ongoing projects, and planning for potential weather impacts before a storm arrives. For communities with capital improvement projects underway, preparation and communication play a critical role in reducing risk and helping projects stay on track.

With association managers, board members, and homeowner leaders in attendance, the discussion focused on practical steps communities can take to strengthen preparedness efforts ahead of hurricane season.

I&E Construction is excited to announce the completion of our project at Harbor Club.

This 16-building, 256-unit residential community in Palm Harbor, Florida involved a highly detailed scope of work, including structural framing repairs, replacement of truss floor system members, installation of Hardie® lap and panel siding, stucco restoration, upgraded sheathing and water-resistant barriers (WRB), insulation improvements, interior gypsum board repairs, and new window installations.

Our primary focus was strengthening the building envelope to deliver long-term durability, improved energy efficiency, and enhanced safety while minimizing disruption for residents throughout the process.

We’re proud of our team’s craftsmanship and commitment in bringing this project to a successful completion.

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our work at Magnolia Park West in Riverview, Florida. Our team delivered comprehensive exterior improvements across the community, including recladding all second-story exteriors with Hardie fiber cement board and introducing a refreshed, modern color palette. We also incorporated architectural cladding accents and installed new hurricane bolts to enhance both the visual appeal and structural resilience of each building. From initial assessment to final completion, every phase was carried out with precision, purpose, and collaboration.

This project reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality repair and restoration solutions that prioritize durability, safety, and long-term performance. We’re proud to showcase the completion of Phase 2 Milestone repairs at Summergate Condominium in Orlando, Florida. A critical step in preserving the structure’s long-term safety and performance.

This phase centered on critical structural remediation, including extensive repairs to steel decking, landings, and ceiling framing, along with targeted concrete replacement and a new traffic coating system for added durability. We also utilized Sherwin-Williams Concrete & Masonry Primer and protective finish coatings to ensure long-term performance.

Our I&E Construction team connected coast to coast, marking our 5th CAI trade show of the year, all centered on what drives us every day: building what endures.

We were excited to return to the 2026 CAI West Florida Educational Trade Show Expo at the Bradenton Convention Center, where the casino-themed event made for a fun and memorable experience.

From there, we headed east to the 2026 Northeast Florida CAI Expo at World Golf Village, where we had an amazing time connecting with managers and board members while celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary.

Each conversation was an opportunity to share how our team delivers proven solutions for large-scale building envelope repair and restoration across Florida, work grounded in quality, longevity, and trust.

At I&E Construction, safety and quality remain at the core of everything we do. Recently, our team completed a 7-story Destructive Testing project to assist an engineering firm in evaluating the building envelope and identifying potential construction defects. By utilizing scaffolding and swing stages, our team carefully performed destructive testing openings and restored all materials once testing procedures were complete.

Our crew followed a detailed testing process that included removal and replacement of deck-to-wall intersections at the roof, exterior masonry wall openings, and balcony and walkway waterproofing systems. The project also included water testing to help verify structural reliability and identify any potential material defects.

Ongoing training and strong safety practices allow our team to perform at the high standards we set for our work. We remain committed to delivering safe, dependable results for our clients while ensuring our team has the knowledge and resources needed to perform at their best.

From spinning wheels and rolling dice to matching lucky numbers, the game-themed CA Day & Trade Show hosted by CAI Central Florida brought great energy to the floor.

But the real win was the opportunity to connect.

Connecting with CAMs and board members, exchanging ideas, and talking through solutions for large-scale building envelope challenges made the day especially valuable.

Our I&E Construction FL team truly enjoyed the conversations, the laughs, and the chance to build new relationships throughout the event.

Our latest restoration project at Nona Preserve is officially underway in Orlando, FL. This 22-building townhome community is set for a full-scale transformation, including comprehensive second-story stucco removal and replacement, complete roof replacements with extended roof trusses, structural framing repairs, new gutter installations, and full sealing and painting of every building.

We’re honored to support this community by enhancing the safety, longevity, and overall quality of their homes, and we look forward to sharing progress as the transformation continues.
