Attention Florida Residents
Tropical Storm Elsa is approaching, it is moving up along the gulf coast of Florida Tuesday and Wednesday. As this storm passes it will have gusts of wind up to 45 mph and 3-7 inches of rain. Make sure your are looking at your ceiling after the storm passes to see if you have any water damage. With storms and wind gusts you can loose shingles and expose nail heads on your roof causing a direct pe*******on for water to come in through.
At this time as we move further into the hurricane season, Roofing contractors become busy along with insurance companies. Other companies from around the country also come into Florida to make quick money and usually are not Licensed in the state of Florida. Make sure you do your research on the company you hire.

With the rainy season approaching make sure you do your due diligence as a home owner and have your roof inspected for any problem areas. This time of year many roofing companies like ours pick up business which creates longer wait times for clients.

Yesterday was memorial day and many of us had family and friends over for a barbeque or we went to the beach, that is all great because these men and women who died would want us to enjoy this day but we must not forget the sacrifices made and the lives lost. I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday but please take time to remember those who never came home, sit down and pray for their families. Prayer is a powerful tool that can help heal wounds.

If you are experiencing anything like this on your roof, give us a call. high winds cause a lot of damage to old shingle roofs. Insurance companies will sometimes cover a roof if there is enough wind damage done.
