Two slightly different roof bracket design mockups for the front porch overhang. Doing a mockup out of quarter inch plywood takes extra time but gives you the visual and saves from cutting into an expensive piece of lumber.

Quick replacement of damaged section of . This type of siding is not really well suited for the climate because it absorbs like a sponge. But we had to match.
The key here is to keep the existing good by weaving in the new housewrap like . No point in removing more than necessary. Here we used 30lb as the to match the style and of the existing 1980's construction.
V***r drive, permeability, moisture shedding, and otherwise knowing the science of buildings is very important when replacing existing exterior siding.
