After the Flames Are Out: What Happens Next?

A kitchen fire does not always remain in the kitchen. Smoke and soot can travel into nearby rooms and through the HVAC system. The blackened air filter shown here is a clear example of contamination reaching beyond the visibly burned area.

A proper restoration process generally includes:

I didn’t build this company because I wanted to own a business. I built it because I wanted to make a difference.

Years ago, I was working overnight shifts in a factory, trying to build a better future. Eventually, I joined a restoration company where I learned the basics of this industry. But I knew my learning couldn’t stop there. I kept studying, learning from experienced professionals, asking questions, and improving every chance I had.

What truly changed everything wasn’t the work itself, it was the people.

I met homeowners who had just experienced one of the hardest moments of their lives. I also saw cases where they weren’t treated with the honesty, communication, or respect they deserved. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just about restoring homes. It was about restoring peace of mind.

I built Nice Job Restoration from the ground up because I believe that doing the right thing will always matter!

Today, I personally oversee every project because I believe every homeowner deserves someone who genuinely cares. I don’t make promises I can’t keep. I explain every step honestly, protect my clients’ interests, and treat every property with the same care I would want for my own family.

If one day my home, or the home of someone I love, were damaged by fire or water or other property damage, I would hope someone would care enough to help us the way I strive to help every family I serve.
