Almost 13 years without my dad, and the space he left is still felt every day. Pancreatic cancer may have taken him, but it will never take the love we have for him or the memories we hold onto.
My father was a master plumber for over 30 years. I learned from him since I could walk—hands-on, side by side—learning the trade the right way. The lessons he taught weren’t just about plumbing, they were about hard work, pride, and doing things right.
Today, my brother and I carry that legacy forward through AKC Plumbing Solutions. Everything we do is built on what he taught us. We think about him often—especially the memories of working together—and we do our best to pass that same knowledge and work ethic on to the next generation, keeping the trade alive the way he showed us.
Another year at the pancreatic cancer walk, standing alongside others who understand this pain and this purpose. We walk to honor him, and all those we’ve lost. We walk to support those still fighting, and to remind the world that they mattered—and still do.
We will continue to show up, every year, for them. Always. 💜
