Small Detail. Big Protection. Long-Term Maintenance Solution.
On a recent project in Clermont, FL, we installed a gutter downspout connection into an underground drainage line with a cleanout access point.
Florida rain can put a lot of water around your home fast. By directing roof runoff away from the foundation and into an approved drainage area, this type of system helps reduce standing water near the home, washed-out mulch and planting beds, flooded side yards, and erosion around patios, walkways, and hardscapes.
The cleanout is the capped access point you see on the pipe. It allows the drainage line to be inspected, flushed, or serviced in the future without digging everything back up.
It may look like a small detail, but it can make a big difference in protecting your landscape, hardscape, and home through Florida's heavy rain and hurricane season.
