Lately all the Tru Green yards are filling up with Torpedo grass and thats a w**d that can take over your turf. If you have Tru green and they messed up your yard but they won't take responsibility, it's normal. They have a reputation for doing this but its ok. I know the manager at Massey, if u call me and tell me your tru green experience I'll pass my buddy Juan the Info and he'll show up at your house to give u a quote so they can take care of that Torpedo grass.

Some people asked me why I can't stripe their lawn like some of the pictures here in this page.

Well here's your answer:
A lot goes into striping, deck pitch and tire pressure so the stripe kit can brush the lawn just right, choice of blades and the actual striping kit on the mower. My deck pitch on the big mower is 3/8 and on the little mower 5/16 vs the actual 1/4 inch from the factory. Those pitch settings only work on Floratam St.Augustine, not on Palmetto St.Augustine. For your Floratam to stripe there has to be a spray company putting down nitrogen in their mix, it helps it give it a good shine when the sun hits it and then with my efforts and creativity I can lay beautiful stripes on your lawn.
I am working on dialing in the right settings on my mowers to stripe Bahia. I haven't found the right blade choice to do it with Bahia yet but I been experimenting on a neighbor's yard with different deck pitch setting and blades to try to stripe Bahia.

It's official, if somebody calls me to do their yard and they have Tru green I am not touching it. Why? Simple, they mess up and blame it on me. I tried talking to the GM and he won't return my calls, so I am just not servicing any more yards that have Tru green to save me the head ache. Other landscapers are having the same problems with yards that have Tru green. So that's it, if I see a Tru green sign on a yard that I am about to service I will decline servicing it.
