As most of you already know, Clermont, Davenport, and the surrounding area got hit by a massive hail and wind storm late yesterday. I was out surveying today and saw more hail damage from this storm than I have seen in almost 15 years in the business. Screens were obliterated, cars were dented, and yes, roofs were damaged. Hurricane preparedness tip. Take lots of pictures of your entire property, both interior and exterior. This includes pictures of every room in your home and any expensive items. For the exterior, be sure to take pictures of every side of your home including the roof. Include pictures of any structures not attached to the home. This could come in handy in the insurance claim process.
