Hello, my name is Jeffrey Laux, they also call me "DJ Jeff" because I used to DJ in the 90's. These days I like to consider myself a legend, but I am not. Just like I am not really a Master Electrician, Plumber, Handyman, or Contractor. But I am a liar, thief, addict, and scam artist.

Here are just a few pictures of a recent job I did for a customer (funny enough, I never asked the homeowner for permission before tearing down the front of the house), it was a surefire way for me to automatically pocket thousands of dollars for the job which I strung out for 2 months (This is a tip for all you non-licensed workers like me), I also got the homeowners to believe that I had somebody pull a permit for me, hahaha, imagine their surprise when they received a notice to appear in court for Code and Permit violations.

Even funnier was when a real contractor came in that they were informed that they had to literally tear everything I did out because nothing was up to code, hahaha (Here is another trick for you unlicensed, simply create a new contact in your address book using the code enforcement officers name and use it to send messages to yourself saying that your permits are good). In the end, it only ended up costing the homeowner more than double to fix everything, but that's okay, they seem to have enough money anyway, right?
So, now you know how I operate, are you ready to give me some work? I'll give you the local Bro-Deal !!!

That time when Jeff Laux created fake contacts in order to impersonate a city official so that he could deceive the homeowner into thinking he had actually filed for the work permits. Meanwhile, Laux intercepted all violations that were sent to the property he was working at, it was not until after the homeowners fired him that they received a notice to appear in court for failure to address the permit violations. This is a public service page to warn others about the actions of Jefrrey Laux Sr. Jeff goes around offering his services as a professional handyman that specializes in electrical, plumbing and construction work. Unfortunately, despite talking a good talk he is anything but professional. Not only is he not licensed, bonded or insured, he is also not a professional in any of those areas. Laux will say or do anything to gain the trust of his victims and then purposely create additional problems in order to milk his victims, he will lie about the work he needs to do, about the materials he needs, anything in order to scam an extra dollar. Laux will even make up fake correspondence impersonating city officials in order to perpetuate his scams. If you or anybody you know has been approached by this guy, please do not even consider hiring him.
