We've received several inquiries regarding Mike's potential retirement due to our recent advertisement for another plumber. We want to assure you that Mike is not retiring yet. He has dedicated many years of hard work and service to Ortonville Plumbing & Heating, and while he will eventually retire, he continues to be a vital part of our team.

Ortonville Plumbing & Heating is currently a small, three-person operation. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to meet all of your plumbing needs as quickly as possible. We prioritize emergency calls, which unfortunately occur daily. The demand for plumbing and heating services in Ortonville and the surrounding area is high, and there is a shortage of qualified technicians to handle the volume of work. Our team often works seven days a week, at all hours, to serve our community.

We kindly ask for your continued patience as we do our best to assist everyone. We also want to take this opportunity to encourage students to consider careers in the skilled trades. These vital fields need more service technicians to ensure that when experienced professionals like Mike do retire, there are qualified individuals ready to continue serving the community.

With the recent snowfall, OPH would like to give a friendly reminder to check your furnace vents making sure they are free of snow and ice. Also to keep your gas meters and regulators clear of snow as well! It may be cold outside, but at least if you have heat, it’s nice inside! Stay safe, warm, and have a good day! 😊

Madilynn Jill Taffe born on 12/12/22.
Her and big brother Tatum are growing quickly and will be helping with service calls before we know it!
