Took down a tree in Neenah today that had been damaged in the tornado. Homeowner wanted to keep the wood on this one.

I know a handful of people have reached out to me this week about help with storm clean up.

I’ve been doing tree work for the power company all week. Once the outages are taken care of I’ll get to you as soon as I can.

If you need more immediate help a lot of the other tree companies in the valley are great. The only suggestion I have is make sure they are insured, especially with this type of work.

Always always always get multiple quotes 🌳

This customer was originally quoted $7000 for this job by another company. Let’s just say I took care of it for significantly less.

7 Poplar removals. All slightly leaning towards the road. Put a rope in all of them and pulled them down into the yard.

Here’s a couple ash trees we removed a few weeks ago. One was leaning downhill and towards the channel and the other was getting close to the house.

Maybe could have gotten away with notching a dropping but better safe than sorry.

Condo job complete 🌳

This job was 7 side by side units, so 14 customers in total.

Some of the work involved included:

✅ Trimming all trees in the front yard to a height of about 7’, and also trimming away from the houses, driveways, and outdoor lighting.

✅ Trimming arborvitae away from the corners of the houses and gutters without changing the appearance of the trees from the road.

✅ Trimming all bushes and perennials in the front garden areas.

✅ Removing any buckthorn growing in the arborvitae between the units.

✅ Trimming any trees in the back yard to a height of about 7’.

✅ Removing any old bands that were installed on the arborvitae.

What better way to spend vacation than trimming the tree over my own backyard 😅

We took probably 4000 pounds of wood and brush off of this half of the tree yesterday. I’ve been worried about it falling on my house/garage during a storm. Not to mention the mess it makes between the seeds, husks, leaves, and branches.

Feels good to finally have this thing trimmed up. 🌳
