Oh, put me in coach, I'm ready to play, today.

Many of our staff at Shea Electric & Communications are/have been volunteer coaches in not just one youth sport, but several of them.

Shea Electric is proud to support youth sports because strong communities start with strong opportunities for young people. Through sports, children learn teamwork, discipline, leadership, and perseverance while building confidence and lasting friendships.

Shea Electric recognizes the importance of supporting its staff in these volunteer opportunities. This summer, Shea Electric generously sponsored a team banner that was hung on the dugout at every game for Craig Sheskey's travel baseball team. They also donated a silent auction basket of fun for Patrick Behling's little league baseball team to be auctioned off at their home tournament.

A community is strongest when it comes together.

Like so many across the Fox Cities, we are heartbroken by the devastation caused by the tornado and the impact it has had on families, businesses and neighborhoods throughout our community. As recovery efforts begin, our thoughts are with everyone affected.

At Shea Electric, we believe in the power of communication, collaboration and partnership. When challenges arise, we stand alongside our neighbors—listening, helping and supporting one another through the work ahead. In the days and weeks ahead, our employees will have the opportunity to volunteer their time to local recovery efforts. We're also proud to serve as a community donation drop-off location, making it easier for individuals and businesses to contribute much-needed supplies to those impacted.

If you're looking for a way to help, consider supporting the Community Response Fund, which is providing resources to local organizations assisting those affected by the storm. Whether you give your time, donate supplies or make a financial contribution, every act of kindness helps our community move forward.

Because when disaster strikes, recovery starts with community. đź’™

With EV adoption accelerating at record speed, the demand for convenient, future-ready charging infrastructure has never been greater.

Automotive manufacturers continue to add electrical vehicles (EVs) to their lineups, with some planning to sell only EVs by the end of the decade. All those vehicles will need a place to charge besides their owners’ homes, which is why businesses, commercial property owners and municipalities need to act now to install EV charging stations.

Shea Electric & Communications partners with Light Effective Design to provide breezEV charging solutions that offer a simple, accessible charging experience. The system uses the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), ensuring compatibility, flexibility, and long-term investment protection. Combined with AmpUp software, businesses can efficiently manage multiple charging stations and locations.

On today’s jobsite, success is driven by more than just getting the work done, it’s about how the work gets done.

This image is a great example of Shea Electric best practices in action:

Proper PPE usage - Hard hats, high-visibility clothing, gloves, and protective gear are essential. Wearing the right PPE is the first line of defense against jobsite hazards and ensures every team member goes home safe at the end of the day.

Leveraging jobsite workstations - Having a dedicated, organized digital workstation allows the team to quickly access plans, track progress, and make real-time decisions. This not only improves accuracy but also reduces downtime and increases overall productivity.

Strong collaboration between the Project Manager (Chris Hopf) right and Project Lead, Journeyman (Seth McDonald) left - When leadership aligns in the field, communication becomes clearer, problems are solved faster, and the entire crew benefits from coordinated direction. Working side by side ensures that planning meets ex*****on seamlessly.

Safety + Technology + Teamwork = A high-performing team.
