Mulch season is officially rolling. 🌱

So far this spring, the Lakeside crew has installed 20+ yards of mulch across several residential and commercial properties — and we’re still going.

The boys have been putting the Bobcats to work these last few weeks. 💪🌱

Between the first cuts of the season, heavy spring growth, roadside areas, hills, and weekly routes starting to take shape, the new stand-ons have already been earning their keep.

The pretty part is easy.

The part that actually matters is what happens before the mulch goes down.

On this project, we weren’t just freshening up a bed — we were helping manage water around the foundation, sidewalks, and entry areas. That meant digging in, checking the problem areas, installing proper drainage, using fabric/stone where needed, and making sure water had somewhere better to go.

A lot of foundation, mulch bed, and walkway problems start the same way:
water sits where it shouldn’t.

Mulch can make a bed look clean, but drainage is what helps protect the home long-term.

This is the kind of work we love because it’s not just about making a property look better — it’s about making it function better too.
