That was a LOT of rain. Anybody build an ark??

Check your basement for water! If your basement is finished, you may not be able to see any water. In barefeet, walk around the perimeter of your finished space.

If you do find water -
1. Move all belongings from the basement to a dry space elsewhere in the house.
2. Pull up carpet from tack strip off the perimeter towards the center of the room. If you are unsure how to do this, feel free to call or text Dan 708-951-1138
3. Grab whatever fans you may have in the house and turn them on in the wet area.

Depending on the amount of water taken in, the carpet may be salvageable once it is completely dried out which will take a couple of days.
