We've been extremely busy here this summer with everything from kitchen remodels to bathrooms, new windows and doors and siding jobs. Here are a few recent ones that are new countertops and tile backsplash. Another one that was cutting out a section of exterior wall to frame in and install a new exterior outswing entry door.

This week's project is complete. Tear out an old wood burning fireplace and brick surround in this dining room and false post and beam. We recently completed a basement renovation project that presented distinct challenges due to low ceiling heights and the requirement of installing bulkheads around structural beams and ductwork. Despite these obstacles, the final result is visually appealing. To achieve energy efficiency, our team installed 1 inch foam board insulation on the concrete walls to create a thermal break, and then insulated the framed walls with R13 fiberglass insulation. We also had to cut out the floor in areas to install plumbing for a bathroom and laundry room area.
