⚠️ TREE WORK IS DANGEROUS — MAKE SURE YOU HIRE AN INSURED TREE COMPANY ⚠️
Tree removal and tree trimming are some of the most dangerous jobs around your home. Falling limbs, chainsaws, heavy equipment, power lines, and unpredictable trees can create serious risks to people and property.
When hiring a tree service, don’t be afraid to ask for proof of insurance. A reputable company should have no problem providing a current Certificate of Insurance (COI).
If the company has employees, it’s also important to make sure they carry workers’ compensation coverage. If an uninsured employee is injured while working on your property, you could potentially be exposed to significant liability.
👉 Our recommendation: Ask the tree company to have their insurance agent send the Certificate of Insurance directly to you. This gives you confidence that you’re looking at a current certificate issued by the insurance agency—not simply a document someone pulled out when you asked.
At D&D Tree Service, we take being properly insured very seriously. We want our customers to feel confident knowing that when our crew arrives at their property, we have the proper coverage in place.
Don’t just ask, “Are you insured?” Ask for the certificate. Verify the coverage. Protect yourself and your property.
Your home is too important to take chances with an uninsured tree company. 🌳⚠️
