Another amazing Polyaspartic flake floor transformation in the books!

This was PolyShield’s first three-car garage and our first time working around an underground tornado shelter. Definitely a fun project and a little different than our usual jobs!

👀 Look closely… see all the different textures and dimensions in this flake blend?

One of the big differences between a professional garage floor coating and a DIY coating is something we call “full flake broadcast to rejection.”

What does that mean?

It means we broadcast decorative flake into the base coat until the floor physically cannot hold any more flake also known as “rejection.” The surface is completely saturated with flake from edge to edge.

Why is this so important?

1. Creates a thicker, more durable coating system
2. Eliminates weak spots and thin areas
