Over the last few weeks, employees have donated items to make sack lunches for the community. This is part of our new employee volunteer program called Green River Cares. It’s our way to give back to the amazing people of Owensboro after we’ve all experienced such a hard year. This week, Green River employees have taken time out of their work days to make sandwiches and fill lunch bags for those in need throughout our community. We will be distributing these sack lunches, drinks, canned goods, and hygiene items today, July 28, at both Smother's Park and Legion Park from 11am-1pm. We’re hoping to reach as many people in need as possible, so please share and spread the word!
