Three Projects. Three Awards. One Incredible Night!

Lewis Contractors is proud to celebrate an outstanding evening at the ABC Greater Baltimore Excellence in Construction Awards, held October 21 at Live! Casino!

This year, three of our projects were recognized for excellence in construction:

Restoration Progress at James Brice House, Annapolis

Preserving a historic landmark requires thoughtful coordination between traditional craftsmanship and modern building systems. Work continues to advance on Lewis Contractors’ restoration of the James Brice House in Annapolis, Maryland.

Recent progress includes work on the HVAC system within the in-ground vault behind the building, localized repointing of the historic stone foundation, and continued restoration of the floors throughout the main levels of the house.

Each phase of the project brings this remarkable historic property another step forward, while respecting the character and craftsmanship that have defined it for generations.

Exciting progress is taking shape at the Maryland School for the Blind!

The Gym and Pool Project continues to move forward, with a new structure rising and work advancing throughout other areas of the project. Crews are installing staircases, progressing with exterior and interior construction, and painting steel trusses as the facility continues to take shape.

There’s plenty of progress happening at AACC!

Lewis Contractors is making great strides on the renovation of the Dragun Science Building at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland.

With demolition nearing completion, our team has finished installing new concrete foundations throughout the existing crawl space while continuing to relocate conflicting utilities serving other campus buildings. Above ground, structural steel er****on is progressing alongside masonry work for the exterior wall infills and new elevator hoistway.

From foundations to structural steel, the pieces are coming together as this exciting campus renovation moves forward!

We’re excited to celebrate the completion of Phase 2 of our renovation project at Keswick Multi-Care Center in Baltimore, Maryland!

This phase focused on upgrading building systems in one section of the facility while giving residents’ rooms a refreshed look.

It’s always rewarding to see how thoughtful improvements can make a meaningful difference in the comfort and experience of the people who call these communities home.

Phase 1 Complete at Calvert Hall!

Lewis Contractors is proud to announce the completion of summertime renovations at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, MD!

This phase transformed several key spaces on campus, including a new golf simulator room, lecture hall, and locker room, along with a striking decorative lobby wall that adds a distinctive visual element to the school’s interior.

From specialized athletic spaces to enhanced learning environments and refreshed common areas, Lewis is proud to help create facilities that support Calvert Hall’s students, faculty, and community for years to come.

Progress at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church!

Work is moving forward at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Highland, Maryland, where we are is renovating and expanding the church’s facilities.

The new parish hall is taking shape, with foundation walls in place and HVAC work underway in the main church basement. The team is also preparing for the next major milestone: pouring the concrete slab on metal deck.

Step by step, we’re transforming the space into a new gathering place for the St. Mark’s community—while keeping the project moving safely and efficiently.
