I've been working in my trade for over 10 years beginning while I was in seminary gathering experience in furniture making and cabinet making while earning a Masters of Divinity from Southern Seminary. From then on I kept building things in my house, from a four-post bed, to cabinets, to end tables and even the spoons in our kitchen. I flipped our first house after moving to Oxford doing the work myself and eventually oversaw the construction of my own home doing a little bit of everything along the way from running electrical to installing the floors, doors, painting, carpentry, dirt work, and building all the cabinets and bathroom vanities in our home. Ithaka is one rooted in love for our neighbor and thoughtful care for those we serve in a mutually enriching relationship built on trust.
