Meet Oscar, Climber in Training.

He’s learning the ropes - literally and figuratively, building the skills it takes to work safely and effectively in the canopy. Climbing requires focus, patience and trust in both the equipment and the team on the ground.

Every day is hands-on, learning through experience and repetition. It’s steady progress, one climb at a time.

We’re proud to be part of the journey and excited to see where it takes him! 🌳💪

Watering isn’t always the issue.

In early summer, trees can show signs of stress even when they’re getting enough water. What matters more is how that water moves through the soil.

Compaction, drainage and root conditions all play a role in how a tree handles heat, moisture and changing conditions.

When the soil isn’t working properly, more water doesn’t solve the problem - it can actually make it worse.

Understanding what’s happening below the surface is what keeps landscapes performing the way they should.

Summer storms don’t just happen, they build over time.

As temperatures rise, so does the likelihood of heavy winds, saturated soil and limb failure. What looks stable now can shift under pressure, especially in trees carrying excess weight or structural weakness.

Preventative care like structural pruning, cabling and early assessment helps reduce risk before storm season peaks.

Planning ahead helps you protect what’s already there.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

As families gather outside to enjoy the beauty of the season, we’re grateful for the freedom to create and care for the outdoor spaces where memories are made. From all of us at Wonderland Tree Care + Landscapes, thank you to those who served and those we remember today.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Timing plays a big role in how effective treatments are.

As trees move water and nutrients more actively in late spring, injections are distributed more efficiently throughout the canopy - helping protect against
pests and disease before peak stress sets in.

It’s a proactive approach that supports overall tree health through the season. Late spring is one of the best times to get ahead of potential issues.

A space like this doesn’t happen all at once. 🌴☀️

It comes together through thoughtful planning, material choices, and how each element is placed and connected. The goal isn’t just how it looks - it’s how it feels to move through it, use it, and spend time in it.

When everything is aligned, the result is a landscape that feels natural, functional, and built to be lived in.

As spring growth comes in, insect activity follows close behind. 🐛🌿

Some are easy to spot, others build slowly in the background - but all of them can impact plant health if left unchecked.

A quick look now can prevent bigger issues later in the season.
