ITCHING OUR BALLS OFF!😬⚽️🏀

1st & 2nd images is our before & after clean up of this nightmare! Electrical being added for our kitchen & looking for any damage to wires from rodents; which was more than you'd believe! New Catwalk installed in the attic for better access through the attic. Got our air vents in for our truss cavities for when we blow in our new insulation we don't suffocate our soffit ventilation. We want more than sufficient ventilation in the attic to keep our home owners energy bills down along with preventing our AC unit from exploding; we need that attic windier than Chicago🌭! Insulation can do wonders for keeping your homes central air from working its butt off but without proper insulation it DOES NOT matter if you have an R-Value of 286 in your attic, that hot air will linger. So with our Ridge vent on our roof, new vented soffit on the exterior, newly installed vented roof cavities, and 2 gable vents we should be more than sufficiently shooting that hot air out of our home while our AC unit thanks us for the next 30 years!🥵🌡🆒️😎

Its been awhile!⏳

Either way, we had to pause with our "wall" that wasn't much of a "wall" anymore to get rid of some drywall, I mean ALL the hideous drywall on the ceiling, to get ready for install! And since we were in the mood of tearing things down, we decided to tear the ceiling down right away along with the insulation since we are going to be blowing in all new insulation that no longer contained rats, mold, & bugs! As you can tell by the last picture, we have alot of shoveling to do & alot of garbage bags to buy! Ceiling down, insulation down, & alot of clean up underway!💪
