Today we’re celebrating Morgan’s first year with the DeGraaf Systems family, and what an incredible year it has been From day one, Morgan has brought a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to learn. She is about to complete her first year in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program at Locklin Technical College, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything she has accomplished. Her dedication to learning the trade and continually growing has made her an invaluable part of our team. Today we're celebrating Matthew Ojeda and his first year with the DeGraaf Systems family! After graduating from Milton High School in 2025, Matthew joined our team as a Fire & Security Technician, and what an incredible first year it has been. He has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and develop his skills, quickly becoming someone our team can count on. No matter the challenge, Matthew approaches it with a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to do whatever is needed. His dedication, dependability, and eagerness to learn have made him a tremendous asset to our company, and we're excited to see all that he'll accomplish in the years ahead. This past Friday, the DeGraaf Systems team came together for our Second Quarter Company Meeting, and what an incredible afternoon it was! These quarterly meetings are more than just reviewing numbers. They're about growing together as a team, celebrating our successes, sharpening our skills, and making sure we're all moving in the same direction. Our Owner and Visionary, James DeGraaf, continued rolling out our EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) vision, helping our team understand where we're headed and how each person plays a vital role in our future. Darwin Franklin, our Head of Operations, shared operational updates and encouraged our team as we continue building on the momentum of a strong year. Our Finance Manager, Kelly Coates, reviewed our second quarter financials and celebrated what God has done through the hard work and dedication of our entire team. The results are a testament to the commitment and perseverance of every employee. Stephen Moffatt, our Assistant Project Manager, led an informative CMMC compliance training session, helping ensure we continue meeting the highest standards while serving our government and commercial customers. Of course, no DeGraaf Systems meeting would be complete without sharing a great meal together and wrapping up the day with plenty of laughter during our team-building activities! We're incredibly grateful for each member of the DeGraaf Systems family. Thank you for your hard work, positive attitudes, and commitment to excellence. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!

Happy 2-Year Anniversary, John Angel! Today we're celebrating two incredible years with John Angel! As our Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative, John wears many hats, and he wears them all with excellence. Whether he's helping customers, supporting our team behind the scenes, or stepping in wherever he's needed, John serves with a heart of humility, kindness, and dedication. John is the proud husband of his beautiful wife, Courtney, and an amazing father to Madelyn, Jeremiah, Matthew, Sarah, and Micaiah. His love for his family is evident in everything he does, and the same servant's heart he shows at home shines brightly here at DeGraaf Systems. One of the greatest blessings John brings to our company isn't listed in his job description. Each morning, he faithfully leads our team in prayer and Bible study, reminding us to begin each day with faith, gratitude, and purpose. Outside of work, John continues his ministry by preaching at the Waterfront Rescue Mission, sharing hope and God's love with others. John, thank you for your unwavering faith, your servant's heart, your positive attitude, and the encouragement you bring to our team every single day. Happy 1-Year Anniversary, Stewart Young! Today we celebrate one incredible year with Stewart Young! After proudly serving our country in the United States Navy, Stewart joined our DeGraaf family through our sister company, DeGraaf Electrical. Since then, we've been fortunate to have him working alongside both teams, and he has become an important part of our family. Stewart is the kind of person who always has a smile on his face and a joke ready to brighten someone's day. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever he's needed make him a joy to work with. Whether he's on the jobsite or in the office, he has a way of making those around him laugh and reminding us not to take life too seriously. Stewart, thank you for your service to our country, your dedication to our team, and the positivity you bring every single day.
