Caring for our neighbors extends beyond their pools. Thank you for understanding and giving our team this time. We’ll be back open on Monday, October 12, for regular business hours.

🌀 Isaias update, neighbors!

Pace Pool & Spa will be closed tomorrow, Friday, 10/9, as a precaution for the safety of our team and You! We’ll keep you posted here about Saturday’s hours as we see how the storm progresses.

🪑 Your pool is NOT a storage spot for patio furniture! Putting tables and chairs in the water can damage your pool’s finish, tear vinyl liners, and damage the furniture itself. Move furniture, umbrellas, and other loose items into a garage or another secure location instead.

We’ve already seen liners torn this year by patio tables blown into pools, please secure those items before the winds arrive!

Take care of your families, check on your neighbors, and stay safe. 💙

🌧️ Prepping for ISAIAS!

We’re keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Isaias and its potential impacts to the Florida Panhandle. As the forecast continues to develop, now is the time to start preparing your home and your pool for possible heavy rain and strong winds.

Here are a few things you can do now:

🧪 Get your water balanced now. Heavy rainfall and debris can quickly throw off your pool chemistry. Pre-treatment of chlorine in the event of a power outage can prolong the deterioration of your pool condition.

💧 Do NOT drain your pool, OR lower your water level. The water helps provide weight and protects against hydrostatic pressure.

🪑 Secure patio furniture, tables, umbrellas, toys and anything else that could become airborne. And please don’t put patio furniture in your pool. We’ve already seen a couple of liners torn this year after patio tables were picked up by wind and blown into pools. Taking a few minutes to secure everything now could save you from a costly repair later.

🧺 Empty skimmer and pump baskets and clear away debris so your pool is ready for additional rainfall.

⚡ Know how to shut off power to your pool equipment if flooding or severe weather threatens your equipment pad.

If you need chemicals, supplies or help getting ready for Tropical Storm Isaias, stop by Pace Pool & Spa before the weather arrives.

We’re continuing to monitor Isaias closely and will post any updates or changes to our store hours this week right here on Facebook.

Stay safe, look out for your neighbors, and get those pools storm-ready! 💙
