Bermuda is the workhorse of Florida lawns. Tough, resilient, and thrives in full sun and heat.

MOWING

Every 3-5 days during peak season

0.5 to 1.5 inches

TIPS
Bermuda needs more frequent mowing than other warm-season grasses. Keep it shorter for a professional look. Never cut more than 1/3 of the blade length at once. Dethatch annually in spring.

WATERING

FREQUENCY
3-4 times per week (summer)
DEPTH
1 to 1.5 inches per week

TIPS
Bermuda is drought-tolerant but performs best with regular watering. Water early morning to prevent disease. Can tolerate drought conditions once established. Reduce watering in cooler months.

FERTILIZING

Use a local source like Manning's Feed and Seed

TIPS
