Cowboys in the pastures & stallions in the pens: Fall Works on the ranch. The crew faced a rain delay last week and halted the plan until this week. Manager Bubba Smith reported the following rainfall totals around the ranch:

5.2 inches Headquarters
4.5 inches at North Camp
5 inches at the Gentry
8.4 inches at Scott camp

The crew and day workers have resumed Fall Works this week. We are thankful for the rain, our road/maintenance crew, our own crew and our day help!

The formula for the best crew on the ranch.

We wait for today’s rain to taper off, but the work doesn’t stop. At Tongue River we are blessed to have a hard working crew in all conditions. We are grateful for the rain and hope all is well and safe after.

It’s that time of year - the Tongue River crew and day workers will be in fall works this week. This season on the ranch always reminds us of the hard work and hardships endured to ensure livestock is raised right at TRR. We are thankful for our crew and our helpers who make it happen.
