We finally got a real Pagosa snowfall this week.

The kind that makes everything feel quieter. Slower. More grounded.

This is what living in the San Juan Mountains actually looks like — frosty mornings, deep snow, blue skies, and landscapes that remind you why you chose to build here in the first place.

Gorgeous mountain modern home right on the San Juan river. Designed by Courtney King, this unique home cleverly incorporates an attached (and adorable!) 1-bedroom apartment for use as a rental to generate income. Clean, elegant lines and a mixture of siding textures and colors make this home pop with a streamlined look. Lots of windows bring the outside right into the living room. The large deck overlooks the river and mature apple trees. The clients we built it for were awesome and this home was so much fun to bring to life. And the and we're not gonna lie - being on the river led to some pretty awesome lunch breaks and mayyyybe even a little fishing.
