This is what a leak in a coil looks like. Sometimes they are not this obvious, but we stayed after it and found this one. We welded up the hole and pressurized the system to confirm there was not leak. If a company mentions you have a leak, a video if possible would be a great confirmation. Thanks for following.

This is one of serval different ways to change out a roof top unit. This is a curb adapter and will work under certain types of conditions. This will turn a side draft unit to a down shot unit. The down side to this style, are the unit will sit up higher on the roof. If you can use some help with your HVACR please give us a call. Thank you.

With this humidity we have going on right now, this is a common scenario. Some of the common issues that cause this are, dirty filter, door left open, indoor fan motor goes out, or temps set way to low. If you’re not feeling any air out the vents this could be what’s going on. Slow and easy fix, just turn the system off and wait till it thaws out. There are several other options to thaw but the safest way is to turn it off. When you turn it back on check the things previously mentioned or give us a call. Thank you.

At SERVCO, I have decided to make this a educational/experience page. We try and give back and maybe help someone fix their own equipment or just get some information on how to. With that being said, here is an example of a data tag and a pic of some breakers. The data tag gives a range of the max and minimum breaker. That is for safety reasons and a code inspected part.
