What a whirlwind of a weekend/week!

We have been elbows deep in chicken getting everything ready for our very first Harvest Boxes to go out this week! It’s been a busy one, but we are so excited to get these boxes into your hands! ❤️

We do have a few leftovers available for anyone who wants to stock the freezer:

🍗 Wings — 6 packages approximately 1 lb packages (8 wings per package), $7.50/lb
🍗 Drumsticks (Legs) — 6 packages, approximately ½ lb each (2 drumsticks per package), $5/lb
❤️ Chicken Hearts — 2 packages, approximately ½ lb each, $5/lb - SOLD OUT
🫀 Chicken Livers — 8 packages, approximately ½ lb each, $5/lb
🫀 Chicken Gizzards — 7 packages, approximately ½ lb each, $5/lb
🐔 Chicken Frames — 17 available, $3 each
🐔 Whole Chicken— 2 available, $23 each - SOLD OUT

When you are trying to clean out the garage and the bees discover the extra frames and boxes… apparently, word spreads FAST! 🐝🐝🐝

We had to move things outside just to get the bees out of the garage. There were bees everywhere, buzzing around like they were calling all their friends to tell them, “Guys! We found the mother lode!”

I think I will wait until tomorrow to finish cleaning the garage.😂

There is just something so peaceful about ending the day in the garden, surrounded by everything we have worked so hard to grow.

Tonight came with the most beautiful sunset, painting the sky in the prettiest colors and making me stop for a moment to simply take it all in.

These are the moments that make all the weeding, watering, planting, and hard work worth it. A beautiful garden, a beautiful sunset, and a grateful heart.

Just when I thought I was going to cut down the peach tree…

I went out to check it one more time and discovered it’s loaded with peaches! It’s been a few years since we had peaches from this tree, so I’m beyond excited.

They are not quite ready yet, but it won’t be much longer! I absolutely cannot wait to taste these!

Sometimes a little patience pays off.
