The old saying, if you have livestock, you’re going to have deadstock.”
One of the hardest parts of farming. Tough week here, we lost 24 meat birds due to a predator attack and injuries. No matter how much care, time, and effort you put into your animals, these difficult days still happen.
Farming isn’t always the picture perfect moments people see online. It comes with losses, setbacks, long nights, and hard lessons. We clean up, regroup, strengthen what we can, and keep moving forward.
That’s farm life.
