Quick bathroom upgrade completed this week.

The original setup only had an older exhaust fan with no lighting, which left the shower area pretty dim. We replaced it with a new exhaust fan with an integrated LED light, improving both ventilation and lighting in the bathroom.

Ran into a common issue today that a lot of Avenir homes deal with — the pool automation panel losing Wi-Fi because the signal doesn’t reach the equipment pad.

For this setup, the solution was a clean, weather-rated outdoor access point. Once mounted and configured, the pool panel connected instantly and has been rock solid ever since. The homeowners can now run their spa, heater, lights, and schedules from the app without any dropouts.

I love when a simple upgrade makes the whole system work the way it should. Sharing in case anyone else has wondered why their pool controls go offline every so often — it’s usually just a weak signal making the long trip to the equipment wall.
