Grateful to spend some this past week in beautiful Portland, Maine with the incredible leaders of the AFSA NextGen Committee during the Q3 Board Meetings.

This group is made up of passionate, forward-thinking professionals who genuinely care about the future of the fire sprinkler industry. Together, we’re working to build stronger leaders, create meaningful opportunities, increase awareness of the sprinkler trades and help ensure our industry continues to attract the next generation of talent.

Beyond the meetings, we were fortunate to spend time together on the water, taking in Maine’s incredible coastline, lighthouses and a sunset that reminded us why relationships matter just as much as the work itself. Those moments strengthen the trust and collaboration that make this committee so effective.

Serving alongside these individuals is both an honor and a responsibility. I’m thankful for the opportunity to give back to an industry that has given so much to me and I’m excited about what we’re building together.

The future of our industry is bright and it’s being shaped by people willing to invest their time, ideas and hearts into making it better.
