🌟 Crew Spotlight: Emily Hatley 🌟

Meet Emily Hatley, one of the many people working behind the scenes to keep our operations running smoothly.

Emily serves as Office Manager and Property Manager for our long-term rental portfolio through Seven Summits. From coordinating office operations to supporting tenants and team members, she plays a vital role across multiple areas of our organization.

One of the things Emily values most about working here is the people. She appreciates being part of a team where coworkers genuinely care about one another, creating an environment that feels more like family than just a workplace.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, her cat, her reptiles, and—believe it or not—her collection of 30 tarantulas! 🕷️

One thing many people don’t know about her? Emily is a foreign language enthusiast who can speak Japanese, Spanish, and French. 🌎

We’re grateful for everything Emily brings to the team and appreciate the dedication, organization, and genuinely positive attitude she brings every day.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who help build strong families and strong communities. 💪

Across Remote Alaska Solutions, Alaska Precast Solutions, and Alaska Concrete Solutions, we’re fortunate to work alongside men who spend their days solving problems, leading crews, teaching the next generation, and putting in the hard work that often goes unseen. Whether they’re on a jobsite, in the office, behind the wheel, or out in the field, many of them are carrying that same commitment home to their families every evening.

The values that make great fathers—patience, integrity, resilience, sacrifice, and a willingness to show up every day—are the same values that help build Alaska.

To all the dads in our companies and throughout the communities we serve: thank you for your leadership, your example, and everything you do for the people who count on you.

This week’s RAS Crew Spotlight goes to our Controller, Rachael Perrien — and we’re especially grateful to be celebrating her 4-year anniversary with us. 👏

Rachael helps keep the entire operation moving behind the scenes through financial reporting, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, HR support, IT troubleshooting, and whatever else the team needs. Around here, she’s known for stepping in wherever needed and always keeping things running smoothly on the office front.

One of her favorite parts of working at RAS is the people. She loves how the whole crew has different strengths and believes that, together, we make a pretty well-rounded team. 💪

When she’s not at work, you’ll usually find her spending time with family — camping, fishing, traveling, or simply hanging out in the backyard. She also loves cooking and baking, and someday hopes to open her own little bakery or restaurant. (We’ve already volunteered as taste testers. 🍪)

Thank you, Rachael, for everything you’ve brought to this team over the last four years. We appreciate you more than you know. 🙌

We were honored to welcome gubernatorial candidate Adam Crum out to tour the APS facility and demo home project in Nikiski this week.

It’s encouraging to see Alaska leadership candidates taking the time to visit active job sites, learn more about in-state manufacturing, and see firsthand the kinds of innovative housing and infrastructure solutions being developed right here in Alaska.

Excited for the conversations ahead and proud of the work our APS/RAS/ACS teams are building together. 🏔️💪

We’re celebrating one-year anniversaries with Alex Conrad, Kristoffer Maier, Adam Garrant, Keith Maurer, and Jacob Harris — a group that’s been part of this project since we broke ground and has helped push it forward every step of the way.
