By now, most of you in Bay County know the story. After the January 2024 tornadoes, a home on Gulf Drive in Panama City Beach went viral for leaning up against its neighbor — and stayed that way for over a year. We were brought in to take it down, and it turned out to be one of the most technically challenging jobs we’ve tackled. Every piece had to come out carefully, bucket by bucket, to protect the neighboring homes on both sides.
No shortcuts. No damage to the adjacent structures. Just a clean, professional tear-down.

Today we stopped our normal work to help a non-profit, Crystal Cottage Outreach, place & finish about 40 cubic yards of concrete. This group started off 40 years ago praying for peace. All people and religions are welcome.
They are more focused today on helping children reach their full potential. With the cost of food today being so high, they offer parcels of fertile land to grow your on garden. They have a market where adults and kids can sell their goods, art work, Pokémon cards, fruits& vegetables, etc.

They also help other non-profit groups by allowing them to use their facilities to promote themselves.
I feel like every so often we should all stop our normal busy lives to help others and this is what Sikes Ready Mix is doing today.
