Another day of sod surgery 🤣🤪🫡.

There's one spot we are going to give some time to see if it was just heat stressed or truly dead. Everything I pulled up today was completely rotten and dead unless it was an edge pieces

I do cut my sections a few inches bigger to make sure I removed all of the rotten, dead, or diseased grass. Last think you want is missing a bit. Correcting the sod and the disease jumps into the newly laid sod.

Got some sub work on the books this week. These are some photos from yesterday's start to the work.

We mowed the grass down to a uniform height and then started identifying spots that didn't take, or struggled during the heat wave and died.

We are marking them. Then cutting the sections out and squaring them away for later patchwork to be done.

More work being performed today. Photos coming later this week.

Normally I would decline. But sometimes the firmware can take 20-30 minute's. I opted to step inside and sit on the floor while we waited to setup the wifi APP.

This is a 2" commercial valve running reclaim water out of Lynn Haven 👀🙈💀☠️. It's been running all night according to the notes. I pull it apart and this is what I find..... yea thats been waiting to compromise for awhile now I'd say.

This was a complaint from their lawncare guy. Guess he should get into irrigation.

Please stay in your career lane and not making recommendations if you dont understand a rain curtain and layout. You end up costing your client money because you didnt understand why it was laid out like this.

I bill for my time, knowledge, and labor. If ole lawncare buddy would have stood there and realized this wasn't built with overlapping coverage. He would have saved his client $$$$.
