Before the first block goes up, the team needs to understand exactly what we’re building.
This morning, Daniela, Gerry, and I are going over the plans for the block walls — reviewing dimensions, layout, elevations, reinforcement, and the sequence of work.

Good construction starts before the physical work begins. When the team understands the plan, we reduce mistakes, improve communication, and keep the project moving forward.

This bathroom proves that modern design can also be practical.

Before concrete is poured, these are 3 important things we check:

1️⃣ Forms — they need to be properly positioned, secured, and built to the dimensions shown on the approved plans.

2️⃣ Rebar — we verify the correct size, spacing, placement, and proper clearance so the steel will be fully embedded in the concrete.

3️⃣ Ground connection — the grounding connection must be properly attached to the reinforcing steel where required before the concrete covers it.

These details may disappear once the concrete is poured, but they play an important role in the strength, safety, and inspection of the foundation.

Build it correctly before you cover it.

Before the footing is poured, the ground clamp and grounding wire must be properly bonded to the rebar. This connection is an important part of the electrical grounding system and needs to be in place before it gets covered by concrete.

One small detail can cause a failed inspection and unnecessary delays.

We don’t just build — we check the details before the inspector does. ✅
